The Florida Anti-Car Theft Committee (F.A.C.T.) would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all previous sponsors for past support of the F.A.C.T. auto theft prevention programs and activities.

F.A.C.T. has achieved many of its goals since its inception in 1995 through cooperation with state law enforcement, insurance and other industries affected by auto theft. Our approach to auto theft prevention has been through education in Florida schools, media events, and as host of the Florida Summit on Auto Theft in 2001 and 2002.

We are currently seeking sponsorship contributors toward three primary objectives for the 2006-2007 calendar year.

1. Sponsorships to extend implementation of the F.A.C.T. auto theft prevention curriculum into 50 additional Florida middle school and high schools.

2. Sponsorships to help host a Summer/Fall 2007 Florida Summit on Auto Theft in Tampa, Florida. (Dates, sessions and sponsorship opportunities to be announced).

3. Customized programs and events.

As a program sponsor, your name, logo and message can be added to curriculum materials including videos, teacher's guides, brochures, and all media releases. Some schools also allow a company representative present during class presentation.

F.A.C.T. School Programs

“A Ride For Life: The Consequence of Auto Theft” which gives students a serious look a the consequences of poor judgement has been presented to more than 300 middle schools across the state of Florida.

“Park Smart—New Driver” F.A.C.T.’s program which teaches new drivers how to protect their vehicles through good habits has been presented in more than 155 of our State’s high schools.

School Program Sponsorship Levels Include:

$5,500 — 15 schools
$7,500 — 20 schools
$9,500 — 25 schools
$19,000 — 50 schools

Schools are selected by a three part criteria. First: Fulfilling backlog requests from schools that have formally submitted intent to use the programs. Second: Schools in the counties with the highest rate of auto theft. Third: Sponsor requests for specific schools that do not currently use the F.A.C.T. materials.

We encourage you to be part of the solution by becoming a F.A.C.T. school program sponsor.
